We support the Casa Belén in Peru

Casa Belén means more than the opportunity for parents to accommodate their children safe. Children who usually live with the whole family in a small room, [...] can pass through the red-yellow fence and leave the noise, the stench, the narrowness and the dirt behind the blue walls of Casa Belén. That's what Casa Belén means for the children. The chance to discover a different and new world where there is enough room to move. Therefore the Casa Belén in Breña is known and the kids love it.“ (c) Lisa S., Praktikantin

The social work of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Peru provides children aged one to six years since 1965. The day care currently offers 140 kindergarten and 30 school children protection from a life on the street and teaches them responsibility and appreciation of social interaction with each other.
